Stainless Steel 321 Pipes are composed using Grades 321 that is the basic austenitic 18/8 steel stabilized by Titanium additions. These grades are widely used because they are not much sensitive to intergranular corrosion after heating. This grade of pipe is preferred for applications in the temperature range of up to about 900°C, because of its high strength, resistance to scaling, and phase stability with resistance to subsequent aqueous corrosion. At a temperature range between 800 to 1500°F, it is insensitive to the chromium carbide precipitation and also provides has higher creep strength as well as stress rupture properties.
